3D1
Green garden mesh residences

Project description

The building is strategically located in Amman’s Business Central District, near architectural landmarks such as the Boulevard and the 310 building. The first basement and the ground floor are dedicated to commercial spaces and the upper floors comprise residential units: three and four-bedroom simplexes and duplexes which allow diversity and break the mass of the building. The concept was to protect this residential building from its environment by creating a green buffer. This was achieved by using a system of double skins over the whole edifice. In this sanctuary of peace at the heart of a bustling city, a central atrium lets in sunlight through a glass ceiling and reinforces the nature themed atmosphere.
