Project Brief
<p>Scope: Multifunctional mixed-use development integrating retail and F&B, creative spaces (studios, Fab Lab, art galleries), corporate offices and business headquarters, innovation programming (incubators, startups, coworking spaces), entertainment and cultural facilities, and residential/co-living spaces.<br>Challenge: Create cohesive innovation district that balances diverse and potentially conflicting uses - corporate headquarters alongside startup incubators, residential living alongside entertainment venues, maker spaces alongside conventional retail. Design environment that fosters collaboration and cross-pollination between sectors (creative, corporate, startup, residential) while maintaining functional separation and operational viability for each program type.<br>Status: Completed</p>

Our Response
Laceco responded to the above objectives by:
Designing a consistent urban framework that nevertheless provided a diversity in the individual architectural character of buildings.
Curating a seamless pedestrian experience in a site that had a challenging topography and was exposed to dominant winds.
Anchoring the site along three platforms linked to each other by a continuous game of terraces, stairs, suspended bridges and esplanades that gently slope down the length of the development.
Conducting value engineering and cost optimization studies to preserve economic viability of the development.
