Info

Initially included within the master plan of the Lebanese University Campus in Hadath, the
Faculty of Agriculture was later reinstated into the Bekaa valley as a means of bringing
students closer to the local know-how, expertise and facilities relevant to their field of
study. The faculty was redesigned within the domain of the Institute of Agricultural
Research near Riyack and can accommodate from 300 to 500 students per year. As a result of
the relocation, students can benefit from extensive land testing space in addition to a
number of greenhouses and laboratories complementing the modern teaching and lecturing
facilities.
